Canadian Red Cross Certification Courses are below:

Standard First Aid & CPR
Recertification-Standard First Aid & CPR
Emergency First Aid with CPR
CPR - all levels (A (Adult only), B (intermediate), C (advanced), Basic Cardiac Life Support)
Recertification - CPR - Basic Rescuer
Level C (Basic Cardiac Life Support)
Advanced Marine First Aid with CPR
First Aid only
Canadian Red Cross Certification courses require a compulsory CPR/ AED module. Appropriate certification courses meet WSIB guidelines. The appropriate course to select depends on the size of your organization. First Aid alone i.e. no CPR component, is not a certification course and also would not meet WSIB guidelines regardless of the size of your organization. Nonetheless, workshops of this nature are extremely popular and very valuable for many office and home environments. Feel free to contact us to see if a customized, non-certification, workshop or training session can be arranged.

Customized Workshops
All participants should note the following:
Anyone can take any of our first aid and CPR courses without having taken any courses in the past, with no age restrictions but you must be able to perform and demonstrate all taught and required skills. While we offer a three year certification through the Canadian Red Cross, all of these certification courses are recognized by WSIB, and are equivalent to St. John Ambulance and Heart & Stroke Foundation courses. The expectation to pass is 100% attendance and participation. The participant must show that he or she can perform all the skills as they are learned. There is also a multiple choice test for most courses.
Please ensure you select the correct course for your needs- you cannot upgrade at a later date. It is the responsibility of you or your employer to make the right course selection unless you have retained the services of our risk management legal department, and have obtained a written contract for services in this regard.
Payment is cash only. There are no refunds, including a participant who does not meet the pass requirements of the course.
Testimonials
Our family had a serious choking incident this year where our son's airway was completely blocked and I had to perform the Heimlich maneuver - for what seemed like forever - until the object finally came out. I will spare you the ugly details but I will tell you that I believe that Tommy would not be with us today if I hadn't refreshed my CPR skills just a few months ago. It was the most frightening experience of my life. Since then, I sponsored a CPR course for my family at my home. This is the second time I have done this for my family with the same instructor and I highly recommend Four Chambers Safety for your training.
